Fresh Power Ready To Play

A heavy snowstorm in Tahoe the night before created a perfect winter wonderland. While riding the lift at Northstar Ski Resort the next day, I saw a scene that I knew would make a great painting.

In this piece, I aimed to depict the heavy snow weighing down the trees and the pristine whiteness of the snow-covered landscape. I wanted to share the peaceful feeling of floating above the fresh, powdery snow.
