The Last Stretch

This is the first piece of my upcoming mini-collection called "Pick You Climb." The collection is about giving yourself challenges, the kind that are not always fun in the moment, but leave you feeling accomplished afterward -- aka Type 2 fun! 

The piece is inspired by Half Dome! A few years ago, I was lucky enough to win a permit to hike with my friends. After hours of uphill hiking, we finally reached the dome's base. I remember standing there and thinking, “We made it! One Last Stretch!” Seeing it up close was so different. It’s still crazy high, but the angle is more slanted and doable than I thought. If you ever have the chance, I highly recommend it! It’s still a scary thing to do, but not too crazy scary!
