Getting to Mossbrae Falls was such an adventure — I had to cross a river and a train track, but it was absolutely worth it! By the time I arrived, it was late afternoon, and we practically had the place all to ourselves. The quiet, the solitude, it all just made the moment feel even more magical.
Standing there, it felt like I’d stepped into a hidden fairy tale. The water seemed to come out of nowhere, trickling so delicately through the lush moss. It reminded me of those beautiful “living walls” you see indoors, except this one was entirely natural — a real, living wall crafted by nature.
I wanted to capture the vibrant moss and the way the water delicately seeped through it. The soft sound of the water dripping into the river added to the enchanting atmosphere. And the way the water danced in the pool below as droplets fell was such a contrast to the usual rush of waterfalls. That serene, magical feeling is what I aimed to bring to life in this piece.
