Hug Me

“Hug Me” came from a time when I really needed hugs myself. It carries the warmth, empathy, and hope I longed for. It’s also the kind of hug I’d want to give someone else who’s struggling.

The inspiration came from The Enchantments Trail in Washington, where snow wrapped protectively around a lake, almost like nature itself was giving it a hug. That feeling of being held and sheltered stayed with me, and it found its way into this painting.
