Getting Lost Pays Off

While snowboarding at Heavenly in Tahoe, my friend and I got a bit lost trying to find our way back to the base at the end of the day. This unexpected detour allowed us to witness the sky changing colors as the sunset.

I wanted to paint this scene to capture the stunning transition of colors in the sky against the snowy mountains. It also serves as a reminder that sometimes getting lost can lead to the most beautiful discoveries.
