Fantasy Clouds Along Big Sur

While hiking at Point Lobos, Big Sur, I witnessed a sunset that seemed unreal. The sunlight on the clouds created a scene that looked more like fantasy than reality. 

I wanted to capture that magical moment in this painting.

I focused on the intense colors, the fiery red clouds contrasted against the purple ocean. These vivid hues made the landscape feel otherworldly. My goal was to show the awe I felt when reality seemed to blur with imagination. I wanted to share that moment when nature's colors were so spectacular, they almost didn't seem possible.
